Oh My God, Oh My God, Oh My God You Guys it Legally Blonde The Musical

We started our weekend early with Kenna and I going to Legally Blonde The Musical and had the best time. The musical was so good and it always nice to have one on one time with my babies. We went to dinner and I let Kenna pick, so of course we had to go somewhere with pasta, her pick was Zio's. We had great seats and I had so much fun watching Kenna's face with all the pink sparkly outfits and all the great music..It is hard to believe that I have daughter who old enough to go do these things with me now, I remember when she was born I thought that time seem so far off and now it's here, sometimes I wonder where all the time went..I am just trying to take in every moment!!

Late Night Rendevous-Painting

So this is what I have been up all night doing these last few days. Kenna's face was priceless when she saw her painting, it doesn't get better than being able make something for your kids and them love it so much. I was surprised at how much I loved painting and making my own creations with my own ideas and actually loving the finished product. I will post more creations as I have time (which seems like never, but I am really trying to get better). Today was a pretty normal day, Kenna had school and me and the boys stayed home and played and Russell went to work, we are still trying to get back into schedule after the holidays. Tomorrow will be busy, I will be getting ready for Brody's Toy Story birthday party at Express Clydesdale barn on Sunday and Kenna has dance. I am off to hang out with husband and try and get some much needed rest, but I really want to paint some more..Oh wow what have I started??!!

Ideas, Ideas, Ideas

This weekend we tried to get the house ready to start painting and changing up some of the rooms. I am ready for a change and I will start with my house!! We are going to start with our bedroom first because in the six years that we have lived here we have never even focused on our room so we figure it's about time. The boys room, Kenna's room, entry way, both bathrooms, and the living room so pretty much all rooms will be getting new paint and some updating. All this needs to be done but we are also getting the house ready to put on the market, we have always said we would do it this spring but we need to decide whether we are going to buy an existing or build a custom because that will definetly be a factor in when we list. The kids are so excited to do their rooms, we let them pick out their colors and they thought that was so cool. Well off to play on the internet and try and get more ideas, I am driving Russell nuts with all the ideas I have but my creative juices are flowing and I can't stop now!

Russell and I had a low key lunch at Zios in Bricktown and then we went and got Kenna and I tickets to see Legally Blonde. We will go out hopefully this weekend to celebrate a little more. Mimi had Brody's birthday with all the kids she babysits and some of the cousins were there. He loved all his toys but the Toy Story ball was his favorite, not that he needed another ball but trying telling grandparents that. Right now frigid weather is coming through and the roads are covered with black ice but all of my family are home safe so we are going to try and stay warm and hope our electricity doesn't go out!!

New Day, New Beginning

This morning went alot better than yesterday morning, the boys were much calmer and no meltdowns. Kenna had a great day at school, she started art class and I think she is going to love it. I am excited to see all the projects she does because she is so creative. The boys played at Mimi and Pop's house in the afternoon and I talked to a certain someone who has a huge influence in my family's life, it went well and now all I can do is HOPE that this is a new beginning for a great relationship for my family. Jackson starts back to school tomorrow and is super excited so lets hope we make good choices and is very nice to our friends and teachers.
